I feel like I am playing Wack-A-Mole. Fix one thing and I find another thing needing immediate attention. So far, we’re repaired the fuel system from the tanks to the carbs and replaced the alternator.
The current repair list includes:
**Exhaust. There is a big leak under the driver’s seat where two pipes from the manifold merge into one. The rear muffler is missing; it seems to have been replaced by a straight pipe.
**Engine. The engine seems to be running on two cylinders. I am not sure if this is intermittent. And as reported earlier, there are lots of oil leaks.
**When the engine does run, it seems to overheat.
**Lights. There are no dashboard lights, brake lights, or turn signals.
**Tires. The tires have plenty of tread, but the date code has three digits, a system not used in 15 years.The sidewalls on two are cracked.
**A missing bumper.
